These things are known, and expected. Please plan to join us at the Romp, try fostering, adopt a pet, send the kids to camp or sign up for a training class. It’s even better when that interest comes along with support and care. It’s always nice to be greeted by someone with interest in the latest news in your life. And every foster home we can recruit is caring for kittens… again and again! Maybe things aren’t “new” at all, but rather “re-new” this season?! Certainly our opti- mism and sense of purpose at HAWS are renewed – and that makes a world of difference for our staff and volunteers. Our Animal Rescue team is on the alert for baby animal calls and concerns. Maintenance, sanitation and cleanliness of surgical equipment, tools and environmentĮxperience helpful but willing to train the right person.Preparing animals for surgery and post-operative care.The principal purpose of this position is provide surgical support for the veterinarians. Efficient data entry skills are expected. Prior animal handling skills for a variety of companion animals including but not limited to strong, large canines and untamed felines are preferred. Team work, collaboration and strong communication skills are a must. They must have a passion for animals and a strong interest in animal welfare.
